Using Mantras in Meditation
A mantra is a word, sound, or phrase repeated during meditation to help focus the mind. Mantras have been used for thousands of years in spiritual traditions worldwide.
How Mantras Work
The repetition of a mantra occupies the mind, preventing it from wandering. The vibration of the sounds also has a calming effect on the nervous system and can raise your vibrational frequency.
