What is Tarot?
Tarot is a deck of 78 cards used for divination, self-reflection, and spiritual guidance. The cards are divided into two main sections: the Major Arcana and the Minor Arcana.
The Major Arcana
The Major Arcana consists of 22 cards that represent major life events, spiritual lessons, and karmic influences. These cards include iconic images such as The Fool, The Magician, The High Priestess, and The World.
The Minor Arcana
The Minor Arcana consists of 56 cards divided into four suits: Wands, Cups, Swords, and Pentacles. Each suit contains cards numbered Ace through 10, plus four court cards: Page, Knight, Queen, and King.
